At Weeke Primary School we pride ourselves as educators developing and delivering a curriculum of high quality that meets the needs of all our pupils.
Our pupils experience a Worthwhile and relevant curriculum, one that is Engaging and interesting, allows an Equitable experience for all, builds on prior Knowledge and is carefully Enhanced to give memorable experiences.
Alongside a range of skills, experience and expertise within our staff team, we build our curriculum around the Early Years and KS1/KS2 National curriculum.
Our subject leaders and senior leaders work in collaboration to continuously review and improve curriculum areas through regular monitoring and review, professional dialogue and CPD (Continued Professional Development) both internally and from other educational sources.
Our carefully constructed and progressive curriculum is implemented through our vision and school values, recognised pedagogical principles taken from ‘Rosenshine’s principles in action’ and an in-depth knowledge of the needs of our pupils in the context of our school community and the wider world.
