Radio Times front cover competition

Mrs Sanjar has been working hard with a group of budding artists across years 3,4,5 & 6. Using a range of materials, the children have been drawing a variety of royal inspired themes in their designs, from corgis to cake! The children have really stepped up to the challenge and we are really proud of their brilliant entries.

Recorderama

On Thursday 25th May 2017, 14 year 3 and 4 children took part in the Hampshire Music Service Recorderama. They performed, along with 100 other recorder players from all over Hampshire, five pieces on an ‘insect’ theme. Most of the children started in September and learning the pieces took a considerable amount of time and perseverance to learn as they were pretty tricky. Ms Adams and Miss Burgoyne were so proud of the children’s performance; they were an absolute credit to the school.
