Jumpers for goalposts, November 2014

What an exciting few days for Weeke Primary School! A phone call from Tobey in Year 5 to the Chris Evans Radio 2 Breakfast show sparked huge interest from Chris Evans and his listeners.

What happened next?

An overwhelming number or emails, texts and phone calls to the Breakfast show, a generous gift of fantastic new goalposts from Mark Harrod Ltd, a two hour visit from Chris Evans himself, an assembly, a penalty shoot out against Tobey, a game of football, an interview with the Weeke Whizz journalists and an invitation to Carfest for all our children, staff and parents!
